Gale Pacific was running a reasonably basic forecasting system that was not allowing the company to forecast customer sales, which hindered staff’s ability to grasp the true value of an entirely integrated forecasting process. With lead times of up to 30 weeks and no effective long-range forecasting capabilities in place, global success and relationships were reaching their peak potential.


After installing Demand Solutions, Gale Pacific now operates a product requirement production schedule for Australia and China that can accurately forecast supply demand based on field collection, realistic expectations and capacity constraints. The benefit has been so great that the company has also acquired two new businesses and has seen a flawless integration into a new global forecasting system.
